About

After earning her degree in Photocommunications at St. Edward’s University in Austin, Texas, Dina spent several years photographing weddings for award winning photographers, Jenn Lindberg and Bill Kennedy. She then traveled to the Big Island of Hawaii where she honed her photojournalistic eye and passion for photojournalism while shooting for the local newspapers.

In 2010, Dina shifted her focus to food, portraits and interiors specializing in natural light photography. Based in Portland Oregon, Dina’s growing client list includes Whole Foods Market, Edible Portland, Irving Street Kitchen and Brasserie Montmartre.

Dina’s style is simple yet refined. She is intrigued by the delicate details in food and prefers to manipulate natural light just enough to bring out food’s inherent beauty. Her fetish for old tarnished silverware and unfinished, antique wood lends a rustic and warm touch to her work.

When Dina is not shooting for a client she works on her culinary & lifestyle blog, Leek Soup, where she cooks, styles, photographs and writes. Dina is also a staff photographer for Eater PDX.
